After top-drawer acknowledgements at the Decanter World Wine Awards and the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2018, Tenuta Secolo IX garnered other leading prizes.
Following tastings and strict selections put in place by Guida Vinibuoni d’Italia’s regional technical panels, Tenuta Secolo IX earned its place in the 2019 edition for the brilliant scores obtained.
Top accolades for Fonte Grotta a dry white Moscato wine that brought home top marks with the attribution of four stars, as well as two of the most coveted and prestigious awards: the Golden Star awarded by the regional technical panels and the Corona del Pubblico from the strict “Oggi le corone le decido io” [“Today I decide the crowns”] parallel panel, composed of wine lovers, journalists, producers and sector operators.
A brilliant result for Tenuta Secolo IX Montepulciano DOC also, which earned top marks of four stars.
A flattering three stars went to our Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC Tenuta Secolo IX and to the Moscatello Passito.
The highest awards – the Corona and the Golden Star – spotlight the varietal identity, the uniqueness of the vine, and the terroir of the champion wines, affirming an undisputed excellence made up of quality, elegance, finesse, balance and sheer drinkability.
Thanks to the results obtained, Tenuta Secolo IX was selected to take part in the following events:
- Tarvisio Ein Prosit (20–21 October 2018)
- Merano Winefestival (10–12 November 2018)
- Enoteca Italia Verona VINITALY (7–10 April 2019)
- WineEround – vini e dintorni (spring–summer 2019)
Deeply proud of the accolades awarded, I would like to that all the panels and even more heartfelt thanks go to all the people who have worked to make all this happen.
