A modern-style Passito wine from an ancient variety that has been grown in the Castiglione a Casauria area for thirteen centuries.
The slow withering on the plant and the latest winemaking techniques are the keys to this complex, intense gold-colored wine with aromas of dried apricot, dried figs, citron and ginger. Its taste is rich, lingering, yet fresh, not too sweet and well-balanced.
It pairs perfectly with delicate blue cheese. At the end of a meal, it is amazing with dry pastries.
